Claude Enterprise is the University's standard, SSO-based Claude access. Most requests are either a first-time access request through MyAccess, enabling a sponsored affiliate, or upgrading to a Premium license for higher limits and Claude Code.
How do I get a Claude Enterprise seat?
Overview
Claude Enterprise is available to Syracuse faculty, staff, and sponsored affiliates. Request access through MyAccess (the Claude access package). A standard license covers everyday Claude use with standard daily limits. If you need higher limits or Claude Code, upgrade to a Claude Premium license, which faculty and staff can purchase with university or department funds. Sponsored affiliates can be enabled by sending their NetIDs to ITS.
Steps
Request the Claude (Enterprise) access package in MyAccess.
Once provisioned, sign in to Claude with your SU account.
Need higher daily limits or Claude Code? Request a Claude Premium license (university/department funds).
Enabling sponsored affiliates? Send their NetIDs to aihelp@syr.edu.
